The Return Of Seo Tae Ji Special

["Asia Kyung Jae News" ~ Reporter Kang Sung Hoon] – Seo Tae Ji and Lee Jun Ki became like brothers in just one day, making the upcoming special show be full of fun entertainment.

During the MBC “Return of Suh Tae Ji Special,” which will be aired on August 6th, at 11:05 p.m. Suh Tae Ji will reveal himself honestly as he travels around the country with Lee Jun Ki.

According to what is on tape, Lee Jun Ki drove while Seo Tae Ji sat at the passenger’s seat, engaged in a comfortable conversation. They started at Kyung Ki Do’s Hwasung, and drove all the way to Ahn Myon Do, sight-seeing the beautiful landscape.

Lee Jun-ki to Meet his Childhood Idol Seo Tai Ji

Actor Lee Jun-ki recently said, “I am extremely honored and nervous to finally meet my idol.”

During a recent interview, he also asked, “Is there anyone who hasn’t been a fan of Seo Taiji at one point or another? Do you know anyone like that?” He also went on to say, “I was a huge fan and he was a great inspiration.”

Seo Taiji, who recently released his 8th single album, will meet with Lee in a special program entitled “Seo Taiji’s Comeback Special” on MBC TV that will be aired on August 4. Lee will meet the legendary singer as a fan.

Lee said, “As I got older, I became saddened by the thought of losing the innocent passion I once had for my idols. I still can’t believe that I am going to meet the idol of my childhood. I really want to feel that passion once again.”

Iljimae sets the pace with 23% television rating

SBS “Iljimae” starring Lee Jun Ki continues to set new records as it maintained its stranglehold over other competing shows in the Wed-Thus timeslot.

According to TNS Media Korea, episode 8 of “Iljimae’ got 23.0%, smashing its previous record. It was an increase of 2.5% from its episode 7 rating of 20.5%.

In episode 8, Ryung (Lee Jun Ki) edges closer to his transformation into the legendary Iljimae. Ryung who by now has remembered everything about his past witnesses the tragic death of his sister Yeon (Son Tae Young) and decides on taking revenge for them to right their unjustly deaths.

Ryung starts learning from his father (Lee Moon Shik) the basics of being a thief, scaling walls, running for life, picking locks. Ryung tries out his skill, stealing a painting from the home of a minister but instead causes his good friend to be blamed instead. He feels guilty and decides to rescue his friend by going into the palace but meets King Yi Jong instead.

On another hand, the romance element finally is back on as Ryung is finally reunited with Eun Chae (Han Hyo Joo) under the cherry blossom tree.

Iljimae breaks the 20% barrier finally

With the character, Iljimae finally appearing in SBS “Iljimae” drama, it was no surprise to see it sailing past the 20% barrier yesterday night.

According to TNS Media Korea, “Iljimae” achieved 20.5%, setting a new record high for the drama and also marking the first time it has gone over 20%. The other competing dramas were noticeably affected by this with “Spotlight” and “Woman of the Sun” posting single digit ratings of 9.6% and 9.3% respectively.

In yesterday’s episode, Ryung (Lee Jun Ki) witnesses the death of his sister (Son Tae Young) by execution and sets his heart out on getting revenge. And to piece the clues together to find his enemies, he begins life as Iljimae.

Iljimae Moving Towards Breaking The 20% Barrier

SBS “Iljimae” continued its steady climb with the 20% barrier in sight last night.

According to TNS Media Korea, “Iljimae” got 19.0% last night and was higher than its previous episode by 1.4 percentile, with the 20% barrier in sight. Not just that, since it’s opening episode, the ratings has been steadily rising leaving the other competing dramas in the same timeslot in its wake.
